Common Network Marketing Mistake:  The Motor Mouth

I was so guilty of this one thing when I started in network marketing because of my sales background.  Moreover, everyone that knew me re-confirmed that what I was doing as the motor mouth would get me results.  The problem was that these voices of advice had no experience in THIS type of business, which was very different than sales.

I thought the more I did this, the more people would say yes because I was good at it!

What I learned was it did the exact opposite and I ran a lot of prospects away.

In the video below I explain how I was “that gal” and what you should do to never have this happen.

Did you like that?  More importantly, can you relate in your network marketing career?

We were given two ears and one mouth for a reason right?  It took me a long time to figure that out, but when I did, my business really started to change for the better.

I learned that the less I said, the more money I made.

As I listened to my prospects, I found out exactly how to recruit them into my business, if they were recruitable.  Sometimes, as you listen, you realize they are really NOT a fit for you or your team.  Most times, network marketers are so busy “throwing up” on their prospects they don’t realize this, then regret recruiting that “non-fit” prospect into their business.

If you haven’t gotten my friends Adam and Michelle Carey’s book, Don’t Be “That Guy” in Network Marketing, you can find it RIGHT HERE on their website.  It’s great and you’ll learn (and laugh) a lot!
