One of the best ways to do this is by building a magnetic brand.

So how do the very successful online marketers do this?

They know these 3 Secrets to Magnetic Branding

1. What Do You Stand For?

This statement needs to be as specific as possible. The more specific, the more traffic you will attract.

For example, I stand for helping home business owners get online, get leads, make more money and build a bigger business faster. I’m speaking to the problems that my target market has, which were also my own when I began.

2. What Do You Stand Against?

What makes you frustrated? Angry?

This is probably what you stand against. What problem do you see over and over and want to provide the solution to help others out of their pain?  By defining this, you’ll be much closer to magnetic branding than most home business owners out there.

As for me, I stand against home business owners continuing to struggle, year after year and being told to keep doing the same things over and over that are not bringing them results.

I get angry when home business owners are being told by their very successful leaders that learning this whole “online” thing will distract them from building their home business.

These are the same leaders who have their own websites, are in magazines and are writing books, aka attraction marketing.

3. Know Your Audience

How well do you know your target audience? To get REALLY good at magnetic branding, write down the top 5-10 “high stakes” pains they have and start searching for solutions.

Create content around these pains, provide a solution and always have a Call to Action with an offer of some kind – free PDF, video series, training course, webinar, etc.

If you’re in the home business profession, you are probably constantly on webinars, reading books, going to events, etc.  All of these things can produce very valuable magnetic content to your target audience.  It’s a method my mentor Ray Higdon calls ILT – Invest, Learn, Teach.

Invest in your education, learn something, then turn around and teach it.

You know ALLL those notes you take?  Turn those into content for your target audience…it’s that simple 🙂

You may be thinking “what do I know?  I just got started”.  You really do know more than a lot of people if you’re investing in yourself on a regular basis.

You may also be thinking “but this big leader just said the same thing, why would anyone listen to me?”

Believe or not, you can take your notes, put them in your own words (or videos) and there will be people who will want to hear it from you, NOT that big leader.  People online will connect with you, especially if you’re authentic.  That’s the beginning of magnetic branding.
